Congress should drop FDA exemption from 2018 National Defense Authorization Act
The final draft of the National Defense Authorization Act would give the Pentagon authority to decide when unapproved drugs and devices, referred to as agents of war in the legislation, could be used on military personnel in an emergency. This proposal is a bad idea and should be dropped.
